18/07/2024: We stumbled across La Cantina while looking for lunch and this was before 1 PM, so most of the other restaurants were closed in this strip mall. The wait staff was very friendly and we sat inside as it was terribly windy outside that day. Both of us were quite hungry and we started out ordering two tapas and two mains, and the waitress immediately told us that would be way too much food. Skeptical, we changed that to two tapas (tomato avo salad and huevos con chorizo) along with grilled squid. The salad was a source of much needed good veg on this trip, and the huevos con chorizo were perfect - Crispy fries, lots of chorizo dice, runny egg yolks that combined into many heavenly bites. The squid was massive, had pretty good taste, but we weren't even able to eat half of the huge serving. I don't think that I would get the squid again, but this is a fantastic restaurant for a casual meal if you are in the area.
