Restaurante Txispa en Atxondo

Experiencia gastronómica. Todos los platos estaban deliciosos. La única pega es q saben todos a brasa, matando el sabor original.

Hace unos 3 meses que no venía porque el que estaba en ese momento era un hombre bastante desagradable y con pocas ganas de todo y menos de atender con normalidad al público. Ahora lo han cogido una pareja de hermanos que trabajan muy bien. Son majos y hacen una tortilla de patatas que está muy buena!!! Siempre ha sido mi lugar favorito así que por tanto a partir de ahora vendre a menudo.

Fuimos a tomar un café y el servicio fue genial. Estuvimos en la terraza. Un lugar muy tranquilo con ambiente de pueblo

My wife and I live in Japan and decide to spend a few days in Spain and explore an area we have not visited combining with a gastronomic tour .. as it was our last meal and my birthday my wife booked 8 months in advance as to ensure we had a nice table and good experience After driving from san Sebastien we arrived just in time at 1320 with what the they claim was an aperitif before the meal , as we were guide to our table we were giving the worst Table in the restaurant I assume the service staff did not even paid attention to our booking and ignore any request .. we had no Option of the table with me facing a wall .. Of course priority was giving to locals tables wise as In the mind of the service staff we were just “”turistas “ who will never come back I have to say the food and the chef brigade were absolutely fantastic as we run very high end ryokans and hotels in Japan we know our foot and service Japan wise pretty well By the way the Maitre D totally ignore us for the white meal but here again the chefs can to the rescue again assume a totally arrogant attitude towards turistas !! Then came the ‘finale’ .. we ask for our bill And as a hotelier restaurateur I alway la check detials .. we order two wines at an xx price and were charge xx okus 60 Euros When I questioned why suddenly the waitress disappear and came back 4 minutes later to tell me the system made a mistake….. total BS sorry my French.. when you run a prestigious establishment this type of mistake never happens .. then I realize they charged two glasses of champagne Which during the appetitive we were offer without a mentioned of a charge .. you do not offer if it’s going to be charge simple you provide the guest with a menu and let them see and decide .. again the same waitress challenge me saying this was told while serving .. Never we were told never we were Presented … and finally we were offer coffee and tea in a very nice presentation and we decide to order a tea and a coffee we Beleive as any part of the world included in a very pricy set meny IT WAS NOT .. here again when I challenge the waitress she again challenge me that we were presented a menu .. never was the menu was presented So dear future customers do check your bills very carefully as turistas we are to be very cautious of being taking advantage of our naivety ( watch your wallet) this can end up costing you a lot of money by so call Mistakes.. What a shame to planned 8 months in advance and travel 22’000km from Japan and have an amazing passion of a chef and chef brigade being absolutely destroyed by a very unprofessional and unethical service staff..
