We really only wanted coffee and something sweet which happens us a few hours after hotel breakfasts. I was looking into cafe windows at the various savoury and sweet goodies on offer but since we arrived here I can’t find any place that sells pavlovas or meringues. I do like them with cream and fruit. Anyway we just liked the look of the offerings at this place as we headed by to the coffee bar at the top floor of El Corte Inglès (bit of a posh chain store throughout Spain usually worth finding as they sell everything from 80 inch TV’s, eight thousand euro bottles of cognac, doughnuts [€1.8] to Beluga caviar) but there was a queue so we decided to reverse go back whence we came and give this place a try. Glad we did. We got the best large cappuccino and large cafe con leche not just on this trip but in a long time. The young chap making it took his time and the result was coffee perfection. So for our sweet treat hit we had 3 tasty, crunchy, mini palmiers (sold as a 3 deal: plain, dark chocolate and white chocolate) and a choux pastry dusted in icing sugar and including coffees for under £7. The coffees alone for the two £5. The staff were real friendly and spoke enough English, the seating was comfy. The toilets were super clean and properly maintained and no WiFi. My guess, we’ll be back today, tomorrow and the next day and as it’s a chain maybe try another in the area.

En general bien,pero las bases de las mesas y el pilar de las mismas, muy muy sucias.

Estuve el otro dia con unas amigas, y la verdad que muy bueno todo lo que pedimos y muy buen servicio. Seguir asi!!

Hay un camarero calvo que se llama Juanfran que es super atento y aun por encima le gusta hablar de pesca 💪

Aparte de que el café está espectacular y los croissant son una delicia, el trato al cliente es inmejorable. Hay un chico majísimo que es calvo y siempre que voy y me atiende él me alegra el día 😊

Los trabajadores muy majos y rápidos, el único problema es que el suelo estaba sucio.

El café buenísimo. Los trabajadores siempre atendiéndole con una sonrisa. Los capuccinos de Lili son los mejores. Repetiré sin duda 🤩
