10/10/2025: Khirganga is a wonderful restaurant. In my opinion, it is the best Indian restaurant in the province of Tarragona. We have experienced the dining-in option and the take-away option. Both were exceptional. The restaurant is owned and run by Neha and her husband, who is the chef. Neha greets guests with a friendly smile. The interior is atmospheric, welcoming and extremely comfortable. On our first visit, we were met by Neha who showed us to our table and gave us menus. We had the daily set-menu which was excellent value for money. The food is outstanding and the staff cater for individual needs; the level of spiciness preferred, for example. The presentation is first-class. In summary, I would say that this restaurant is a revelation. I have eaten Indian food in many countries, including India itself and I would rate this restaurant as one of the best I have ever been to. However, there is one thing that is worth mentioning. If you order the daily set menu (not something off the main menu), they will not put what you can't eat into a container so that you can take it home. Remember that the portion size of the main course is large. It seems they prefer to throw food away rather than allow customers to enjoy the food later at home. Ambas opciones fueron excepcionales. El restaurante es propiedad de Neha y su marido, el chef. Neha recibe a los comensales con una sonrisa amable. El interior es evocador, acogedor y extremadamente cómodo. En nuestra primera visita, nos recibió Neha, quien nos acompañó a la mesa y nos ofreció los menús. Pedimos el menú del día, con una excelente relación calidad-precio. La comida es excepcional y el personal se adapta a las necesidades individuales; por ejemplo, el nivel de picante preferido. La presentación es de primera clase. En resumen, diría que este restaurante es una revelación. He comido comida india en muchos países, incluida la propia India, y lo calificaría como uno de los mejores en los que he estado. Sin embargo, hay algo que vale la pena mencionar. Si pides el menú del día (no algo del menú principal), no te pondrán lo que no puedas comer en un recipiente para que te lo lleves a casa. Recuerda que la ración del plato principal es grande. Parece que prefieren tirar la comida a la basura antes que permitir que los clientes la disfruten más tarde en casa.
