Looking for authentic Mexican tacos I stumbled upon this place, amazing veg options like they have a separate menu for vegetarians; that’s the only highlight. Food: Tacos were pretty bland for Mexican food I had to go through 2 cups of chilli salsa. Beverage: Margaritas were average, considering a Mexican restaurant. Service: was good for a cramped and small restaurant.

A place that you shouldn't miss here in Ottawa, a first class service, polite, attentive and very delicious food with spectacular "Tostones", a pleasant atmosphere from the moment you enter, you are welcomed by Latin music.

While this place isn’t the fanciest or biggest, it is still worth a detour as this is by far the best Mexican food in Ottawa. The tacos, aguas frescas and everything else is absolutely delicious!

My wee family went for lunch yesterday after reading all the great reviews. Sadly 2 out of 3 of us were quite disappointed. I really wanted to like what I was eating, and perhaps I would have had it been served hot instead of lukewarm, and if I hadn't found hard crunchy bits of rice mixed in with the more edible bits, or if my beef taco had been shredded beef instead of ground beef which was so greasy it made me feel queasy. I couldn't eat it. The beef thing was my fault since I didn't ask about it, but rather made an assumption that it was not ground beef. Bottom line - it was mediocre in flavour, we, who had the tres taco plate were served room temperature food so I wasn't compelled to finish my cold beans or crunchy rice. One of chicken tacos was watery and cold and the other had potato mixed in which I wasn't expecting, and because I had given my beef taco to my partner, which left me with probably less than an ounce of protein my my plate, I ended up buying a sandwich in the mall an hour later because I was so freaking hungry. That was $77.00 for lunch for 3 that I actually regret. The woman who served us was lovely but she did not come by to check in with us about the meal. I doubt I would chance going there again.

Lots of great options for everyone. They have a vegetarian section in their menu, but many of their other dishes can also be made vegetarian or vegan thanks to their amble vegetarian protein options. I really liked the enfrijoladas.

It's very difficult to find such great tacos in the city. We totally recommend it. Also the staff is suuuper friendly.

Nicest staff, best music, such sweet vibes and the food is awesome. I love this place!

Very nice atmosphere if you dine inside or out in the new eating area outside. We've done both take out and dine in and both times noticed it does take a little while to get orders out but they always offered it with a smile. As for the food. I'd like to say better things about it. I've had the softshell tacos multiple times and found the meat to be overcooked, tough and quite bland. My partner had the flautas which were supposed to be drizzled with sour cream and instead had feta cheese. They tasted ok but again a little bland. I didn't feel we got our money's worth as it was about $51 after all said and done. Last time I ate in I had another meat based dish and again found the meat to be tough and bland. I will say their chips and salsa are solid! Lots of potential here though so maybe I'll give it a try in a year or so.

Absolutely delicious tacos!!!! $28 for 6, yes please!!!! I recommend the "papas with chorizo", they're so good!
