Abbiamo prenotato qui durante il nostro pernottamento a New York. E’ stata senza dubbio una delle cene più divertenti e interessanti della mia vita. Servizio incredibile.

Dopo dell’attività fisica davvero molto intensa, é un obbligo venire qui a mangiare. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.

THE BEST BIRTHDAY DINNER OF MY LIFE!! The servers were absolutely amazing and sooo friendly. The food was amazing. I was sooo filled at the end of the dinner. I can’t stress how beautiful everything was and how amazing the staff was!! Thank you sooo much!

Plants and EMP rock! The bar tasting menu with wine pairing was phenomenal. Grilled Maitake mushrooms was the best vegan dish I ever had. Looking forward to where EMP goes in the next 25 years.

I'm not saying anything new here...the absolute cream of the crop. Amazing.

I’d give it a four star but for the price a it’s three star. I had modest expectations for it being the considered one of the best of the best in NYC and it fell short. I did the 9-10 course meal with a wine pairing. The food was alright (for a three Michelin star), not the best not the worst. I’ve been to a few other restaurants that are three star Michelins and this was the worst one. The avocado was my favorite dish. The rest was nothing special. I love meat too much. This place reassures me that even the best vegan food sucks. I felt like the wine pairings was a bit too much drinking (8 drinks) and mixing alcohol made me a bit sick. Less alcohol would have been better. I liked idea of the gift to go (see pic), although I haven’t tried it yet. The service overall was good. The venue was boring although I went on a Wednesday night. If you are dying to go, just to brag you went, do the six course meal with no wine pairings. Don’t over spend, it’s not worth. If you are a carnivore, you’ll be disappointed but that’s expected for a vegan place. I would never give this place 3 stars. I wonder if they paid for it. The food is a 1 star and service is a 2 star. I wonder if they paid for ratings. It was $1.5k for two with 10 course meal, wine pairing, and standard tip.

Returning after Covid, last year, the restaurant reimagined itself into plant-based-only menus, and quite a few patrons, including myself, were not sure what to expect. There are so very few Michelin vegetarian or vegan restaurants, especially here in America. So I was quite pleased that I stopped in for a no-reservation lunch recently. The main dining area is still very open with 7m ceilings, which (intentionally?) makes the bar seating area seem claustrophobic and dark. While waiting for my table, I watched one of the servers use a classic flat-iron to smooth out the tablecloth at one of the tables. Yeah, if you've never been, it's that kind of place. During a quick tour through the enormous kitchen, I made the pleasant discovery that women now comprised about 40% of the kitchen staff - highly unusual in the industry at this level. But the first, and last, reason to visit is the excellent food. I enjoyed the tofu with peas and anise hyssop (lavender) and the asparagus with rice, nepitella (calamint - mint/oregano flavors) and ginger. Of course, their presentation skills have not diminished, demonstrated with the steamed-at-the-table stuffed morel with baby lettuce. I'll have to return. 2023 06 10. M3.
